Description
This cocoon comes from the cold! The slightly off-white colour of the particularly rich duchesse satin is reminiscent of the snow through which the protagonist of the Winter Journey trudges towards his unknown destination. The grey inner lining – also in satin weave – has a delicately grained texture. This cocoon is lined with another thin layer of silk in plain weave to give the cover a little more support. The Duchesse silk used here for the outside has a weight of 38 momme.
